DAY 1 : MILAN

On this trip you'll arrive in Milan, a city known as a fashionista paradise, with the Quadrilatero della Moda district where luxury boutiques and designer stores line the streets.

​

Start your day with a walking tour of the famous architectural and artistic sights, and behold the grandeur of Milan's  awe-inspiring Gothic Duomo or the painting of the Last Supper in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. In the afternoon hop over to a terrace and watch the people go by while enjoying a nice aperol spritz like the locals do. As the sun sets, the trendy Navigli district comes to life. Here you can find bars, restaurants and beautiful bridges where you can have a nice evening stroll. 

DAYS 2 - 4 : PARMA

In the morning, take the train from Milan to Parma. You can buy your tickets in the station.

Parma is well known for its culinary excellence. The Parmigiano Reggiano D.O.P. parmesan cheese and of course the Prosciutto di Parma were invented here. Michelin star restaurants and cozy streets filled with terraces - The city offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely stroll through its parks, gardens, and picturesque streets.

Parma is steeped in history and boasts architectural marvels, including the impressive Parma Cathedral and the Baptistery, which are renowned for their Romanesque and Gothic styles. The city's historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site, invites exploration with its charming streets and elegant squares.

DAYS 5 - 7 : VERONA & GARDA

On your way to Verona, look up some dairies and book a tour through one of them. You will learn all about how the famous cheese is made and in most of the cases also can enjoy a nice tasting afterwards. You can find the full list on their official website.

Verona is often hailed as one of the most romantic cities in the world. The city's charming streets, historic architecture, and the iconic Juliet's House (Casa di Giulietta) create an atmosphere that seems straight out of a Shakespearean love story. Explore the medieval Castelvecchio, the well-preserved Roman Arena, a colossal amphitheater, and the iconic Ponte Scaligero for a glimpse into the city's past.

 

Verona's culinary scene reflects the rich flavors of the Veneto region. Indulge in local specialties such as risotto al nero di seppia (risotto with cuttlefish ink) and pastissada de caval (horse meat stew) while sipping on the region's renowned wines, including Amarone and Soave.

Verona serves as a gateway to the stunning Lake Garda, one of Italy's largest and most picturesque lakes. A short drive from the city takes you to this serene destination, where you can enjoy water activities, explore charming lakeside towns, and soak in breathtaking landscapes.

DAYS 8 - 12 : URTISEI

From Verona, the road to Urtisei - Ortisei - Urtijëi in the Dolomites offers you vistas that will stick with you forever. First you will have to go over some highways, before you enter valleys filled with vineyards and apple orchards. In the backdrop the enormous mountains of the Dolomites will slowly appear.

Surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, Urtijëi offers a postcard-perfect setting. Just a short drive from Urtijëi, the expansive Seiser Alm is Europe's largest high-altitude alpine meadow. In the summer, it's a paradise for hikers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts. In winter, the meadow transforms into a serene snow-covered landscape perfect for cross-country skiing and winter walks.

DAYS 13 - 14 : CORTINA D'AMPEZZO

Tre Cime Di Lavaredo

Cortina d'Ampezzo emerges not just as a ski haven but as a gateway to exhilarating alpine hikes that weave through some of the most inspiring landscapes. The most famous hike in the neighborhood of this town is the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The three peaks are a majestic sight, as your hike takes you around them in a big looped trek. You can opt to stay in one of the rifugios, or drive back to your hotel in one of the towns. 

 

Other amazing sights are the Lake Misurina, Cinque Torri loop, the Lake Sorapsiss hike and the hike up to the Rifugio Nuvalou, which is a mountain hut perched at an altitude of 2,575 meters.

DAYS 15 - 19 : VENICE

Venice may be one of the best known cities around the world, with countries calling their cities "The venice of country X" to get some of its attraction themselves. It's a network of canals where boats are your ride of choice. Hop on a vaporetto or embrace the classic with a gondola. It's not just transportation; it's a Venetian experience. Piazza San Marco is the heartbeat of Venice. Take a leisurely stroll, sip an espresso at a café, and marvel at the stunning St. Mark's Basilica.

 

Tourists often forget that Venice is not an attraction parc. The inhabitants are trying to live their lives and keep the city as beautiful as they know it. Keep that in mind when you visit this beautiful city, and respect it's history and people.
